John LaTona M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. LaTona completed his Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University. He furthered his education receiving his Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy in Physiology Biophysics from the Chicago Medical School. Dr. LaTona then completed his Internship at the University of California Los Angeles and his Ophthalmology Residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. LaTona is a Board Certified Ophthalmic Surgeon as well as the owner and CEO of Community Eye Care of Indiana, Inc. He specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery, diabetes eye care, dry eye, and comprehensive eye care. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Indianapolis Medical Society, and the Indiana State Medical Association and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. LaTona is available to see new patients at both our North and East offices.
